Main toolbar

The Main toolbar is located at the top of the View Patient Record window. Use this toolbar to quickly perform tasks.

  1. To view the Phone Sheet or Electronic Files associated with the patient, click the corresponding tab.

    • As the cursor moves over a tab, its color changes from blue to orange.
    • The active tab is orange and displays on top.
    • For more information on Phone Sheets, click here.
    • For more information on Electronic Files, click here.
  2. To scroll to another patient in the system, use the Rolodex.

    • Click the upper Rolodex card to view the Patient Record immediately preceding the current Patient Record.
    • Click the lower Rolodex card to view the Patient Record immediately following the current Patient Record.
    • Click and move the slider up and down to find another Patient Record.
    • Highlight the Rolodex card number and enter the number of the Patient Record you wish to view.

Note: The Rolodex orders the Patient Records in ascending number by Patient ID number; however, the number on the Rolodex may not be the same as the Patient ID number.

The group of patient records associated with the Rolodex is the same as those found in the List View for that window. For example, from the Find Patient window, the user performs a search that results in 10 Patient Records, which the user then sorts by Last Name. The user clicks the View button for one of the Patient Records to display the View Patient Record window for that Record. The Rolodex orders the Patient Records in the same order as the sorted list.
  3. Click the corresponding button to perform these common tasks:

       Create a new Patient Record

       Edit the current Patient Record

       Delete the current Patient Record

       Find a Patient Record

       Open the Help window

Close the View Patient Record window
