Manage Patient Alert
If a Patient Record contains a Private Alert, (P) displays on the left end of the Alert bar.

Step-by-Step
- On the Patient Alert bar, click Manage.
- The Patient Alerts popup displays, listing all Alerts (not including Private).
- To display only Private Alerts, click Show private alerts.
- To display all Alerts, including Private Alerts, click Show all alerts (including private).
- To filter the list by Alert Type, click Show alerts of type and select the Type from the drop-down list.

- To add a new Alert, click the Add Alert link.
- To delete expired Alerts, click the Delete Expired Alerts link. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
- To edit an Alert, click the Edit button
on the row of the Alert you wish to edit. The Edit Patient Alert popup displays.
Note: Use this option to change an Alert's description, type, expiration date and whether it displays in the Alert bar (Private status).
- To delete an Alert, click the Delete button
on the row of the Alert you wish to delete. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
- To close the Patient Alert popup, click the Close button.
