Print Prescription

Optical and Medical prescriptions can be printed from several Elements using the methods described below.

Print Method	Element
Final Spectacle Rx - Detailed Final Spectacle Rx - Brief Final Contact Rx's	Click the Print link to the left of the Data Entry screen button.
Medication History Medications for This Encounter	Click the Print button in the row of the prescription you wish to print.

When the print option is selected, the prescription prints in the format of the corresponding template defined in the Document Templates module.

Note: Only prescriptions with a Status of Active can be printed. If the prescription has a Status of Inactive or Stopped, a warning message displays and the prescription does not print.
