When is this special Encounter created and saved?

Two scenarios exist:

  1. When a Medication is added to a Patient Record by:

    1. Clicking the New Medication button on the Patient Medications window
    2. Filling out the data entry screen
    3. Clicking the OK button

MaximEyes® SQL dates the special Encounter with today's date and adds it to the Patient Record.

  2. When the user clicks the E-Prescribe button on the Patient Medications window, and, while on Rcopia, either:

    • Signs and sends a prescription

      OR
    • Adds a Medication to the patient's Medication List.

When the user closes the E-Prescribe window, MaximEyes SQL downloads the updated Medications and Prescriptions from Rcopia and stores them in a newly-created Medication Rx Without Patient Visit Encounter.
